You should have your eyes checked every two years by your GP, optometrist or ophthalmologist to help ensure the health of your eyes.


You should have your eyes checked immediately if:

  • You have noticed any recent changes in your vision.
  • You have a family history of eye disease and you have not had your eyes checked in the past two years.
  • You are over 35 and you have not had your eyes checked in the past two years.
